My name is Colleen O’Reilly. I’m a sophomore at Perkiomen Valley High School. I play for the water polo team and I enjoy spending quality time with my close friends. I’m known for being humorous, easygoing, and kind. I plan on going to college (not sure where yet) to become a child psychologist.
I consider myself to be a strong writer. If I’m truly passionate about or I really care about the topic I’m writing about I’ll do even better and enjoy it too. Also, I’m a very visual learner. I think things through differently and I don’t sweat the little things in life. I tend to look at the bigger picture when facing many problems that come along with being a teenage girl. My friends like coming to me to talk about their problems because I’m a good listener and I can give good advice. But I struggle with getting over the fear of having to meet new people and my number one bad habit is procrastination.
As a younger person, I hope to offer new insight and a fresh set of eyes to my future employers and colleges. Going above and beyond the average student is something I want to achieve and I believe I need to earn the right to be taken seriously. I want to bring in new ideas and new ways of going about challenges. It’s not a matter of what the world can do for me, but what I can do for the world. My goal is to leave a lasting impact on those around me.
